"I got this jig from Gizmo awhile back, it should work great with the bench!"
"I also have an old trainer thingy that I use alot in my builds. It seems to work pretty well on the bench."
"I have many more plans for this contraption, some of which include a couple of rotating bike clamps and extra attachable bike racks for storing past, present and future projects! I'll try to post them as I get the time to make them."
Comments .....
Big Moe .... "Now I get it. I thought it was one of yer famous bike creations at first. Weren't da uprights for da handlebars?"
Gizmo .... "Needs wheels so you can roll it around (hint --- think abandoned shopping cart, ya know where you can find one of those don't ya?) Make the wheels "kick down / up" so ya kin sit it down solid when ya wanna wail on it with a hammer or sompthin!"
Philphine .... "that looks like it's gonna work good and be pretty versatile."
Giggles .... "Gizmo, You've been to the storage unit right.
Also need wheels to pull it out to get to the rest of the stuff. Unless it has a permanent home somewhere in the storage."
Gizmo .... "Well......uh yeah, that's kinda why I suggested wheels. (that and my own personal experience."
Chainsaw .... "Big Moe,
Yeah I thought about making it a two seat hand pedaled trike/bench and our wives could ride it back and forth betweeen your shop and mine. But
and Ethyl probably wouldn't be willing to make our lives easier and I know you and I don't wanna pedal that contraption!
Gizmo, I like the wheel idea. I've got some extra wheels laying around so I'll have to give them a try.
Gravity Bench Racing?
Phil, Thanks! By the time I get everything made up for it, Inspector Gadget will wanna see a PlayBoy style magazine spread of this beauty!
If any of you guys got any more suggestions for my FreakBench ...... let's hear 'em!"
Big Moe .... "I had one like it an I thinked ita would make a good kick bike - den I kicked it an I broke my toe.
On a serious note - don't use those $3 HF 8" wheelbarrow wheels. I put them on my shop stool and the bearings fell out in about a month.
Looks as if the benchtop jigs etc u have will work great."
Shaggyevil .... "Looks good, Chainy!"
