Big Moe posted on FBN in September of 2009 ..... "Just finished a new chopper and couldn't find cable long enough to span the distance from the apehangers to the rear brake. Took a cable clamp bolt, the kind with the hole in it, and drilled it out just enough for two cables to pass thru and made a cable clamp that splices two lengths of brake cable. Made the splice along the frame where the cable runs outside the housing. IT WORKS!" "I hope I got this figured out. The splice drawing should be self explainitory. Take a look at OrangeAppeal. I got inspired by the 7yr+1 ride in Flint and went into a building frenzy. I used expanded metal as the fill in. Single speed at this time but may add the rear shift. Rides OK but the steering tube is too vertical. I will correct that. Seat slides fore and aft for adjustment."
