I got the BIKE OF THE NITE award on Choppernite #49 with my PennyFakeThing.
So I get to pic the BIKE OF THE NITE award for Choppernite Halloween.
I'm pretty excited about it as it is usually the biggest ride of the year with some absolutely stunning freakbikes.
I'm marking the event on my calendar- its the Wednesday before Halloween, Oct. 28.
Hope to see you there!

Somebody asked me about me PennyFakeThing, that I won bike of the nite trophy. Well, the name came from Johnny Payphone, founder of ChicagoFreakbike. The bike is a combination of old and new. A mini highwheel and a Schwinn Varsity 10 speed bolted to the front wheel. So now I have a high wheel with a freewheel, 10 speeds and brakes. The challenging part of riding it was learning how to steer with my feet. Here is a picture from HollyWEIRD at the Photo Op.

Well it was a very hard choice to pick the Bike of the nite trophy. There were so many nice bikes to choose from.
Some very noteworthy rides in the choosing were:
Nikki gracefully riding her tallbike.
The bike with the small rear wheel and the big front one.
Jeff's matching his and hers Alenax bikes.
Martin's extended whip.
Way cool stretch trike,
Some really nice bikes with lots of lights.
The one I picked was the Kid riding the Spincycle. (Hurricane Andrew)
He just seemed to be having way more fun than anyone else riding their bikes. Made me smile just watching his drifting turns and 360's. Plus he had lots of cool details on his spinny. Congrats Andrew!
