Think of the FreakBike Nation forum as having a PG13 rating. Parental discretion is advised, but for the most part we are basically family friendly.
So here are the Ten Commandments of The Nation (FreakBike Nation)
1. The views, opinions and ideas expressed by the members on this forum are not necessarily the views, opinions or ideas of the rest of the FreakBke Nation members, moderators, administrators or owners. Every member of the forum will be held accountable for their own actions.
2. Try to keep control of your language as much as possible. Use some sense while posting.
3. I think most all of us can take, and may even want, a little criticism about our bike or our build habits, but let’s check ourselves before posting. We are a great community of bike enthusiasts so let’s not argue or belittle others on the board.
4. Bullying or harassment will not be tolerated. If you truly believe that you are being bullied or harassed, please contact the admin, either by p.m. or at: jjohns211@baker.edu
5. This is a Homebuilt and Kustom Bicycling Community Messageboard that offers all of us a little refuge from the rest of the world. Please DO NOT discuss any political views or religious beliefs. Either of these WILL NOT be tolerated and will result with a warning and the possibility of being banned!
6. Dooms Day type topics will be removed immediately from the board! If the world is gonna end, then let’s enjoy what time we have left! There are plenty of messageboards for this type of topic ..... So go there!
7. Please use common sense when posting pictures. Make sure they are yours or that you have permission to use them. If you do not know whose pictures they are but would like to post them, PLEASE label them as "INTERNET FIND".
8. When posting pictures of dudes or dudettes MAKE SURE THEY ARE DRESSED APPRORIATELY! If they’re not wearing anything … DON’T POST THEM! If they are wearing very little then make sure it is considered publically accepted. A good rule of thumb is this …. if it can be worn on a public beach, it’s o.k. to post. If you have any questions about this, please email me: jjohns211@baker.edu
9. No Spamming! Whether it’s the board or ANY individual members …. NO SPAMMING! Anyone caught spamming will be banned immediately! This is a place to enjoy yourself without being harassed. Let’s keep it that way! If you have a legitimate business or service that is bicycle related, then please send me the info and I will consider it for posting in the proper section. Email your info to jjohns211@baker.edu or p.m. me.
10. The Admins of the board reserve the right to filter, edit and/or delete ANY questionable topics, posts or replies. Any of the Admins may also give warnings or ban any members if they (the members) do not follow the above rules.
After all this was written, the bottom line is ....
Respect the Board and IT will respect you!
