Hollweird #105 Stay-cation bbq picnic June 10, 2017

Join us on our 2nd Saturday of the month HollyWEIRD #105 ride on JUNE the 10th 2017.

Vacations involving air travel, rental cars, hotels and restaurants are not really that relaxing.

Its much easier for Hollyweird riders to show up on bikes and party like tourists. Then we get to go home and sleep in our own beds. Resting easy knowing we haven't maxed out our credit cards.

Our Hollyweird Stay-Cation will have all the fun of Hollywood beach broadwalk without all the hassles.

We will have the bbq grill for some Junkyard Dawgs, with all the fixins. If you have a dish you would like to bring, put it in my big cooler and I will haul it.

Wear your most comfortable cruise wear. Hat, camera, sunscreen, swimsuit, and get ready to pic-nic!

This has always been a very relaxing ride. You never know who will show up. It's great fun to see old friends and make some new ones.

The ocean is nice and warm - bring your suit for a swim.

If you are taking the train, consider taking the later 10:00 train, or if you need to leave early, get yourself to the 6:50 train.

Load up your bike with lots of lights.

At HollyWEIRD, All bikes are welcome, but we really like the freaky ones.

1st meet-up is at the Hollywood Library, right on Hollywood Blvd, just east of 1-95.

we meet around 2:00 and ride out at exactly 2:30 SHARP!!!!!

Second stop is at Hollywood beach BLUE WALL THEN at 3:10 at the Riptide the address is 2300 N. Surf Road, right on the beach

The big Meet-up is at Dania Beach Bar and grill around 4:30.

This is a good time to take a swim and enjoy a nice cold drink or have a snack from the grill.

Around 6:00 train riders leave beach to make the 6:47 train out of Hollywood Station.

Others can stay at beach till sunset and we all leave and go back to the Library to get to the cars.

We have had rainy days every day this week.

The weatherman assures me it's going to be a beautiful sunny day tomorrow for Hollyweird #105

I am really looking forward to riding with friends.

And an awesome cook out with Junkyard Dawgs!

Hollyweird Rides are a very simple thing, its just friends riding bikes on the beach.

But it is such an important thing to get together with friends that it deserves getting on a regular schedule.

I am very glad to have Hollyweird on a monthly ride, I look forward to seeing regular riders and other friends that I don't get to see in a while.

Its a good thing.

We had our picnic table and grill right behind the band that was playing at the Dania Beach Bar and Grill - some blazing blues guitar - JP Soares and The Red Hots

This is the music we were treated to at our bbq. We were Grooving and dancing while cooking up some Junkyard Dawgs!
