YOUR at the SOURCE for information about CHOPPERNITE, the Freakbike Nation Pages! PLEASE feel free to TELL OTHERS about the ONLY TRUE source for Freakbike Choppernite information. Go anywhere else, and view it suspect.
Our Choppernite ride "Halloween Choppernite", was bumped from a third Wednesday of a third month, to October on a third Wednesday, which was...
Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Old school riders knew this. Meet up was around 6:30 or 7:00pm. Different people need more or less time to get their wheels on. 7:30pm ride out SHARP!!!
You do NOT have to have a chopperbike bike or even a FREAKBike but it MIGHT HELP! ANYone on ANY bike is welcome but FREAKBIKES HIGHLY encouraged. It's not unheard of for Freakbikes to get preferential parking, Freakbike rider only minigames etc. Don't have one? Borrow one. Buy one. Or, WHOA(!) MAKE one!
Helmets are HIGHLY encouraged but kids under 16 need a helmet as required by law.
LIGHTS ARE REQUIRED as per sate law when riding after dark.
Brakes on your bike HIGHLY encouraged. If you INSIST on riding brakeless, PLEASE ride in the back. (Fixed, I’ll call 'with brakes' because I know. Flintstone brakes (shoes) are NOT brakes.) If you insist on doing tricks on a group ride, you need to grow up. It's not the night for it.
We meet on Washington Rd, in the street. A little South of the corner of Washington Rd and Southern Blvd. It's a very calm street.
No parking at the Greek Church. Street parking is ok, but none of the lots, gravel, paved, front, back, etc. Through NO fault of our own. And they asked nicely so I say we oblige out of the respect they have given our group over the years.
Again, ride out is 7:30 sharp. Every... Choppernite.
If your going to share this, link to this.
The Freakbike Nation Pages is the authority, not Spacebook, Yamoo, Miami Blog Scene etc. Other places might be right, but THIS is never wrong.

At a recent Hollyweird ride I mentioned to T3 that we had some unfinished events from Choppernite #60. We just ran out of time. they were...
1/ Longest Wheelie - longest wheelie wins!
2/ Longest slide - this is where the rider rides over a Lunch tray, locks up the rear brake and slides. Longest slide wins!
T3 agreed to run them during the mini games at upcoming Choppernite 61
We got to thinking there are other riders with unique abilities that they can do on their bikes. And we should call them out...
Like longest track stand, or play banjo while riding a bike or juggling while riding a bike. Or ride a bike sitting on handlebars?
Since this being a Halloween ride, the idea came up "Tricks for Treats" or "Treats for Tricks" with prizes or treats given out to the best tricks.
So come up with your unique bike riding ability or trick, and show it off. You may win treats! You've got 4 weeks to practice. Get going.
See you there!

Choppernite #61 was a lot of fun. It was nice to see old friends that I only see on Choppernites.
I met some really nice new people on their first Choppernite.
Some noteable bikes; Martin's County Plate bike, a custom stretch with custom license plate body work.
Eastwood's tall trike, looks very dangerous, even more when John rides with no hands!
BMXer's Pete's fur cover OCC chopper. Is that real fur? Its so soft!
Palm Wolfe and Laurie with outrageous costumes, and bikes.
Special appearance by JDogg!
Junkman's Choice Cup goes to Josh on his new tallbike.
Bike of the nite cup goes to Kevin at epikcarbonproducts.com on his over the top custom. He takes home made custom bike to a new level with carbon fiber rims, fenders, a stretched Ruff cycles frame, lots of copper plating, you see more details the closer you look. He wants to bring his wife's bike to the next ride, that will be something to look forward to.
Special thanks go to T3 for leading the ride and keeping the group safe and for officiating the mini games!
Chop On!

Since my computer was destroyed by lightning its not east to update here. My excuse. IT IS STILL the source for anything Freakbike Militia. Not Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, NFL.com, Lifetime, The Miami Herald, your Mom, ALL ALL ALL second sources. Not to be trusted blindly.
This Martin character has taken to the nic name Tina by the Freakbike Militia. If there is money involved, you're his family, or you don't ride a bike, his name is Martin. If you ride with us, he's Tina. Nic name earned.
Same for Eastwood. John if there is money involved, he's your family, or you don't ride a bike.
Eastwood, while on a deadly triple tall, did NOT win the Junkman cup. Gemo did. Gemo's Dad actually built the tall bike Gemo won with. Gemos Dad rode it, and realized the inherent danger of tallbikes. While healthy, he didn't need to risk an insurance claim so he shipped the bike to Gemo from Nebraska to Lake Worth. Gemo gave it the true cyclists attention to make it more user friendly. Was a great pick.
While I occasionally understand the easy to type, my nic name is actually TIII. The "III" instead of "3" because my legal name is actually the same as my father and grandfather. I am legally a III.
Our minigames was a skidding contest only contested by Albert and Diego. Adult Albert won. I heard some grumblings that somehow it should be rigged to LET little guy Diego win. Diego might have been 6 at the oldest. I don't do that. I wont placate to give kids anything. When they DO win, on their own, they know it, and they appreciate it MORE. When they lose, they learn that you don't always win. Call me a turd but it's VERY fair. AND Choppernite has NEVER been FOR kids. They are VERY welcome. But Chopperntie has a target audience and the 8-18 year olds aren't in it. The Kids ARE Alright, this just is not the event made FOR them. Welcome to join us, but not invited specifically. Don't hate on me for this until you understand the difference between the two words.
We then had a track stand competition, which Abel from Lake Worth easily took. He was of the few on a dedicated track bike so this was easy for him.
With no one else willing to attempt our next mini games, we went to the costume contest. Corey from Lantana won as Flo from Progressive insurance. She won a Grammy, a Tony, A Moon Man, an Academy Award... and a prize from our prize bag.
Our next Choppernite returns to the third Wednesday of a 3rd month format, AND The Nightmare Before Christmas theme!
Read it HERE first: Choppernite 62, A Nightmare Before Christmas ride: Wednesday, December 19th, 2018
Cut something, glue it, then ride it in.
