Posted on FBN in 2013 ....... "I saw some tall bikes online for the first time last week and decided I had to have one, so I got a couple old bikes from a friend and put them together. It came out pretty decent (for a guy that had no idea what he was doing)." Replies to Duhstee's post ..... Gizmo .... "Oh yeah, a guy that had no idea  I'd say ya done a pretty nice job Duhstee. Looks good!" Duhstee ..... "Well, I studied sculpture in college, so I know my way around a welder and metal shop. But as far as the actual construction of the bike, I was pretty lost. For instance, it didn't occur to me to leave the bearings and guts inside the top bike's stem, so I've just got the pipe going straight through it. It squeaks a little when you turn, and it's a tad stiff, but it works well enough to ride it around. Next time I'll keep all the guts in there. Thanks for the positive feedback though. Now I want to make something else, haha." Chainsaw .... "Duhstee, Great looking tallbike! Looks like you went the "safe nuts, safe ride" style. Great way to jump into the FreakBike game! We look forward to seeing your future Freaks. Also, don't be afraid to post up some of your sculptures!" Duhstee ..... "Thanks man. My girlfriend wants a trike, so as soon as I track down another old bike I'll have to get started on that. I've got a couple ideas for it already. It should be a pretty fun project."

More replies ....
Shaggyevil .... "That looks pretty sweet!!"
Gizmo ..... "Wants a trike tallbike??? What a woman!!!"
TIII .... "ACK! Theres a reason you don't see many tall trikes. They get built, test ridden and then DUMP at the first turn. The bikes can't lean, and the rider can't lean ENOUGH to overcome the center of gravity being thrown so far over. Call me a jerk, but I hope this comment inspires you to overcome this HUGE physics problem! Your thought process is rad, but reality is hard. Keep welding, cutting, riding! I like what youve done so far and KNOW what we see come out of your garage will be better and better!"
Duhstee ... "oh, no! She doesn't want a tall trike. She just wants a crazy looking normal height trike. I can't even begin to imagine how I would overcome the problems of turning a tall trike without falling over. haha"
Gizmo ..... "Training Wheels....... WIDE TRAINING WHEELS"
Chainsaw .... "Looking forward to seeing her trike. You gonna start with an old adult trike, a trike kit or scratch build one?"
Duhstee ..... "I think I'm just going to build one from scratch. I'll just get a couple old cruisers and see what I can get to work."
