Chainsaw posted in 2013 ....." and I didn't really have much of an Xmas this last year and our income tax went to catching up a few bills, so when I got back what was left of my student loan, I told her we were gonna have a little fun. On a visit to the House of Wheels in Owosso, Mich. we noticed a boy's and a girl's Sun Crusher 7. We kinda both fell in love with the bikes at the same time. We put them in layaway until our money came in, but told Rick to sell them if he could get more in when our loan came . Well we got the loan this last Friday and Rick had my bike but has to wait until the next shipment of girlie bikes comes in. Here's a manufacturer's pic of mine ....." "And here's what will look like when Rick gets it ....."

"So while we're at the House of Wheels, and I grabbed a few parts for the bikes. I had Cory (one of Rick's builders) accessorize my bike before taking it home ......" "We'll post what grabbed for her bike when she gets the bike. I'll try to get a few close ups of the valve stem covers, later tonight."

Comments ..... Shaggyevil .... "Looks good, Chainy! I like the look those bars give it. And the spike covers look cool..." Philphine .... "heckle and jeckle? Can't think of a name (or can't think of a pair of names anyway), but they look like nice bikes. really wide looking tires. what size are they?" Chainsaw .... "The tires, I think, are 3.5 x 26 but they measure around 4 inches wide. I went for a ride yesterday. About three miles and boy are my arms tired! The bike rolls really nice and the 7 speed definitely helped on the hill, especially with those bigass apes. Found a few more things to screw on and got a few non bike parts that will find their way on to the bike. I'm hoping to play with it a little bit on Tuesday." Gizmo ..... "Now the cryptic little picture on my (dumb) phone makes sense. Good for you and Dora. Are we all gonna have to go out and get fat tires to keep up with you two? As to the upgrades, I suspect if I tried to ride with my hands that far above my head my fingers would fall asleep and fall off. Cool bikes, congrats!" Chainsaw ..... "Just realized that we never posted bike when we got it ....."

Comments .... Junkman .... "Congrats Chainy and on the new bikes. Call them Mama and Papa Wheelie. Anything that will get you out riding is money well spent. I hope you ride the heck out of 'em. But won't the Rats in the Garage be jealous? I always worry that If I get a new bike I won't want to ride my Ratty Freak bikes. Anyhow, I've got 26x3.45 BOA fat tires from 3GBikes.com on my stretch and really enjoying them." "I hope you don't mind me posting a pic of my Fat Rat Road Sofa next to your nice new shiny bikes." Amberwolf ..... "I'm never worried about that, cuz there's no new bike that would be as good (for me) as one I built myself, or at least modified, so any new one would quickly become a freakbike anyway.) (or just as likely end up as pieces to use on the existing ones!)" Chainsaw ... "Thanks Junky! This last weekend I rode the piss out of mine (at least by my standards). I put about 50 miles on it in three days. It's the first real riding I've been able to do this year. couldn't ride hers because of problems with her side, but she hung out waiting in the local McDonalds and parks as the rest of us rode. I felt bad that she couldn't ride with us. I miss not riding as much as we use to, but I miss not riding with the Mrs. even more. Hopefully we can get her feeling well again and Freak like we've never Freaked before! Oh and by the way ...... You can always inspire us with your contraptions whenever you like! Hell the bike's top tube is worth a gander all by itself! I still wanna ride my Freaks as much as before, but I also wanted something that was cool as hell, readily available to others and could still get a little Freaky! Basically I wanted reliable bikes that also would help promote the House Of wheels bike shop (in Owosso, Michigan). Kind of my little way of saying thank you to Rick Morris for understanding our twisted and demented bicycle culture. I think the bike " brings it to the table" every time it rolls it's big ass down the road! But it aint over yet! Stay Tuned!"
