Late last fall I picked up a scooter. (2014) Some body lost interest. So I pulled it into the shop this spring and took a look at it. Of coarse the batteries were shot. Got the batteries and a charger put them in and sort of got it running. Had to repair a tire tube. Then I noticed the brake was a little tight and also looking at the motor and drive sprocket looked miss aligned. I took the whole rear end drive apart and had to do some realigning to get the sprockets to align closer. After I got the batteries charged took it for a ride down the road. Not to bad!! for a 24VDC scooter. The chain is not coming off if I leave it a little loose. But if I manually push the scooter it will come off. So for now I think I will use it and see how it works. If it gives me problems I will have to take the rear apart again. It will be a great scoot around swaps, shows ect. It is pretty nice that it has 12" tires and a seat. I have searched and seen other ones with less. small wheels and no seat, $140. I can scoot slow and check out the swaps!! Not sure what they cost new $250. I think?? So far I got $50. in it.. snowworks

During the Memorial holiday nice weather here in MI I took a cruze in my electric Mongoose Z350. Moves right along!! Not sure the range on a scoot?? I do not think I would go more than 2 mile out. Still have to get back 2 miles. I went about 3 miles total I think and it did not have the pick up as it first did. Charged it up and see about next time. Here is a pic.. Attachments:
