Great Lakes FreakBiker, George Cook (aka Shaggy) is in the hospital due to an accident while riding his bike. Not sure of any of the details, but will let everyone know once we find out. Keep him in your thoughts.
UPDATE! From one of George's good friends. I spoke with his mother on the phone. He was riding his moped on State Rd. and a guy in a pick up truck hit him. George is expected to be okay. He did not break any bones, but had surgery to have a portion of his bowel removed, as it had a hole in it from the accident. He will have a bag at his side and will have it on for a while to see if there's any leakage from the surgery. He will be in the hospital for at least a week and may have to wear the bag for a couple of months. Let's all thank God that he will be okay.

From what I've heard, Shaggy has the breathing tubes outs and was expecting to be moved into a regular room. I haven't talked with anyone directly but this was posted by a friend of his. and I are gonna try to see him one day this week.

Sorry for not updating sooner. I went to the breakfast and Shaggy was there. He looked pretty good but still has his bag on his side. He said that they told him that he's healing real good and will most likely lose the bag soon. He has been doing a little bike riding around town, so hopefully he'll be back to Freakin" soon!
