Wednesday March. 21th will the Choppernite #59 The famous annual spring time Freak Bike Militia ride. Talk it up on Facebook, phone a friend, text your buddies, just tell everyone to come! Prizes, games, and surprises for sure! All bikes are welcome but we really like the freaky ones. Who will wiln the Junkman's choice cup?, currently held by Martin it's his pick! He loves the "Grab N Fab" style! Who will win the bike of the nite cup?, I know of a few builders making new choppers just to get a hold of that cup! Meet up is around 6:30 or 7:00pm. Different people need more or less time to get their wheels on. We meet on Washington Rd, in the street. Corner of Washington Rd and Southern Blvd. It's a very calm street. No parking at the Greek Church. Street ok, but none of the lots, gravel, paved, front, back, etc. Through NO fault of our own. And they asked nicely so I say we oblige out of the respect they have given our group over the years. Ride out is 7:30 sharp. Every Choppernite. Don't even be a minute late or you will miss the ride! Ride lasts about 2 hours, back at the cars around 9:45pm Read more: freakbikenation.proboards.com/post/1096/quote/350#ixzz57IrnNA6R

My Corkie vest shrunk in the wash so I had to order a new reflective Corkie vest - its got reflective tape, pockets, its cool and it is ripe for customizing.
I got me one WILD WILD VEST!
I ran it past the prez T3 if we could have a Wild Wild Vest theme for the Choppernite, everyone could wear their own Wild Wild Vest, make your own Freak Bike Militia Vest. If you already have one, now it the time to dig it out and wear it with pride. If you don't have a Wild Wild Freak Bike Militia Vest, well now it the time to make one up an let your freak flag fly!!
I got the nod from T3 so its full speed ahead. Let the paint, patches and pins fly!
Ok Choppernite is only 2 weeks away, so you've got 2 weekends to come up with your WILD WILD VEST!
Chop, hack and Sew, On!
PRIZES for best vest! Wildest Vest! Sexiest Vest! Best Freak Bike Militia Vest!

I was digging around for some patches and pins for my"Wild Wild Vest" and I came across a pin from Daytona Bike week 1982 and my dad's high school soccer patch from 1941. On to the vest they will go!
Any body got anything older, let me know.
Maybe we should have a prize for oldest pin and patches. OK we will!
See you there!

Sometimes we have Choppernight themes that I'm not sure what to wear.
This one is easy, everyone can do this.
Take a shirt or jacket and cut off the sleeves, you now have a vest.
Decorate in freak bike theme, Skulls, flames, pinstripes, patches and pins.
An old t shirt cut up makes a great patch for the back.
Use a sharpie, Acrylic Paints, house paint, and glitter to write FREAK BIKE MILITIA or F.B.M.
Too much is not enough!
Get creative, get going!!
See you on Wednesday 3/21/18

Pump up tires and pack bike tonite - OK
Finishing touches to vest - OK
The word in the wind is we will have a very seldom seen, high esteemed rider, one not seen for a long time.
You just never know who will show up for Choppernite.
See you there!

Martin came to the meetup to deliver the trophies he won from last Choppernite. It was a short visit because he was under the weather with the flu. It was long enough for him to appreciate the "Barstool Trike" by Ilya the Master Bike Mechanic at Jack the Bikeman. The barstool bike featured a real, full sized removable barstool. It also had very ingenious pedal activated dual disk rear brakes on the the trike. Lots of interesting details made it fun to look at. So Martin deemed the "Barstool Trike" The Junkman's Choice Cup winner on the spot. Then went home. Feel better Martin.
The Bike of the nite cup went to JohnE. on his low and fast bare naked speed machine with a 60 tooth chainring from a Schwinn exercycle. The bike not only looks fast, but JohnE. rode to the front of the group at every light to Cork. He is fast.
Sexiest vest prize went to Nikki with her porno pin vest. I got a nice souvenir porno pin Of Choppernite #59. You can too, with a donation to her MS Keys ride fund. I got the best Freak Bike Militia Vest. Yea! Oldest pins on a vest went to Ryan wearing his dad's high school vest! Wildest vest prize went to a cute girl who wore it well.
Special thanks to Da Prez T3 for getting gift cards for the prize winners!
It was a beautiful night with perfect bike riding weather, It was really nice to see old friends and make some new ones. That's what its all about!
