Her name is Half Penny the half sister to Fat Penny... Started with a foot scooter and the rear of a 16" kids full suspension bike. Re-doing the head tube to get it to the correct angle for the Penny front end. Frame and forks welded up. Seat mount idea....

Looking good! Can't wait to see a ride vid! Kinda makes me sad though ..... I can't see any of my parts on this creature. The rear tire, the seat and I believe the handlebars came from your pile of scrap...

Had to extend the goose neck so the handlebars will clear my knees while pedaling.... Let me know what you think about it....

Good to see those old parts, I miss them. Like the handlebars extension. Do you need to brace it though? I saw where one of the FaceBook guys recommended bracing and I agree. Maybe you could find some wrought iron scrolls or twisted metal? I really like the way this is turning out.

Here she is rideable... She seems to handle fine, but I still am in the learning curve of riding a tall bike. Crashed twice so far, first time was when I was trying to climb aboard and the second time was shortly after I got all the way up into the saddle and went a few more feet... Skinned my shin a little on the second crash... A close up of the added goose neck brace that I added after it was pointed out by Peter Wm Wagner on FB that it might be wise to have it. If you look you will see the rod slides into the curved tube that is welded to the steer tube bottom. Bought a couple cheap second hand wrenches to make the steps...

Do you still have them and did you ever think about adding pedals?

Yesterday was pretty hectic, but I did notice the paint and meant to say something. That had the stickers really looked good. The bike was a little taller than I thought it would be. Good job. I still wanna race for pinks!
