Join us on the 2nd Saturday of the month for HollyWEIRD #125 - February the 9th 2019.
February is a festive month with Valentines day, Lincoln's and Washington and Junkman's birthdays it is a good time for a picnic.
Some folks feel like family right away. Last month's first time riders Alex and Denise offered to cook up some Texas-style smoked wings for this month's picnic. And I jumped at their offer with a resounding YES PLEASE!! You might remember Alex was riding the Dog Skeleton Chopper and Denise was riding the Purple Haze cruiser.
Alex is bringing his own smoker, wood chips and wings which he will prepare himself. Of course if something comes up for them the back up plan is for some Junkyard Dawgs.
We will make a short stop at our regular Food Place where riders can get desert and chips for the picnic... Or a sandwich if you don't want wings...
Any one that wants to bring something that needs to stay cold, I am bringing my big cooler trailer.
There's just something really cool about a picnic with bikes on the beach, its hard to forget.

Join us for a one day vacation on Hollywood Broadwalk. Ride your bike, hang out with friends, eat some pizza and have a good time. Februaryi s a great month to swim in the ocean. Bring your swimsuit.

This has always been a very relaxing ride. You never know who will show up. It's great fun to see old friends and make some new ones.
If you are taking the train, consider taking the later 10:00 train, or if you need to leave early, get yourself to the 6:50 train.
It gets dark early now so Load up your bike with lots of lights.

At HollyWEIRD, All bikes are welcome, but we really like the freaky ones.
1st meet-up is at the Hollywood Library, right on Hollywood Blvd, just east of 1-95.
we meet around 2:00 and ride out at exactly 2:30 SHARP!!!!! Ha Ha

Second stop is at Hollywood beach BLUE WALL THEN at 3:10 at the Riptide the address is 2300 N. Surf Road, right on the beach
The big Meet-up is at Dania Beach Bar and grill around 4:30. Look for us at the picnic tables behind the band.
This is a good time to take a swim and enjoy a nice cold drink or have a snack from the grill.
Around 6:00 train riders leave beach to make the 6:47 train out of Hollywood Station.
Others can stay at beach till sunset and we all leave and go back to the Library to get to the cars.
